Community Guidelines

OPEE is a community where event Organizers and Attendees come together to share experiences. To keep our platform safe, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone, all Users must abide by these Guidelines whenever they post, interact or attend in‑person or virtual events booked through OPEE.

1. Be Respectful & Inclusive
  • Treat every User—Organizers, Attendees, support staff—with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Respect different backgrounds, cultures, opinions and accessibility needs.
  • Use language that is civil and appropriate; avoid profanity, harassment or personal attacks.
2. Prohibited Content & Behavior
  • Harassment & Hate: No threats, hate speech, slurs or demeaning remarks based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or age.
  • Violence & Illegal Activity: No promotion or depiction of violence, self‑harm, criminal conduct or illicit behavior.
  • Sexual Content: No pornographic, erotic or sexually explicit material; adult themes must be clearly labeled and age‑restricted by the Organizer.
  • Spam & Scams: No unsolicited promotions, fraudulent schemes, phishing or deceptive practices.
  • Infringing Content: No posting of content you do not own or have permission to use (music, video, images, text, trademarks).
3. Organizer Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate event details (date, time, venue, pricing, accessibility information) and update promptly if anything changes.
  • Obtain all necessary rights, licenses and permits for performances, speakers, music, images and other content.
  • Ensure any age restrictions or content warnings are clear and enforced at registration and at the event.
  • Respond promptly to Attendee inquiries and refund requests in accordance with your stated policy.
4. Attendee Responsibilities
  • Arrive on time and follow any venue rules (e.g., capacity limits, safety protocols).
  • Respect the Organizer’s instructions and the rights of fellow Attendees.
  • Do not record, photograph or stream any part of an event without explicit permission from the Organizer.
  • Refrain from disruptive behavior that interferes with the event experience.
5. Reporting & Enforcement
  • If you witness or experience a violation, please contact OPEE Support immediately with details and any evidence (screenshots, timestamps).
  • OPEE will investigate reports promptly and may take actions including warning, content removal, account suspension or permanent ban.
  • Repeated or severe violations may result in legal action or removal of an event from our platform.
6. Updates & Modifications

We may update these Guidelines from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
